The Mercedes Benz Club Brooklands Festival 2007
As Club Approved Insurer, Peter Best Insurance Services Ltd would like to advise you of a weekend motoring extravaganza at the new Mercedes Benz World on the 20th – 22nd July 2007.
The Mercedes Benz Club will be staging its biggest ever event at Mercedes Benz World in 2007. All of the Club’s Registers will be in attendance and, as well as the Club’s National Concours, this event will incorporate its SL, W123 and S class rallies which in previous years have been run separately.
Mercedes Benz Clubs from all over Europe are invited.

For those of you who haven’t heard of Mercedes Benz World, it is a huge retail, service, technology and heritage centre built on three floors over 16,000 square metres at the famous former race circuit at Brooklands in Surrey.
It is a stunning building with all manner of interactive displays of latest technology, brand history exhibits and special interest areas. Outside, there are a hundred acres of test-tracks, a skid pan, an airstrip, an off-road course and display areas. It stands within the famous pre-war race track, adjacent to the Brooklands Museum. Located south west of London, it is easily accessed from the A3 and M25.
Participants must be members of the Mercedes Benz Club or other invited club. There will be a packed programme of events filling the whole weekend. Day tickets are also available. There will be an informal welcome barbeque on the Saturday and Sunday. All ages of Mercedes Benz cars, from 1886 to 2007 will be welcome.
24 hour security will be provided for cars left in the parc fermé and courtesy coaches will take participants to their choice of three hotels throughout the weekend.
The public are invited but will be directed to general car parks with registered participants accommodated in dedicated display areas.

- Parade laps for participants to drive their own cars on the test track
- AMG cars with professional drivers to take participants round the test track
- Trade village
- Off-road driving course
- Driving Tests
- The full facilities of Mercedes Benz World

- Black tie gala dinner overlooking the cars on display
Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend in Mercedes Benz World and in the Brooklands Museum tea room. There will also be plenty of picnic areas.
The Mercedes Benz Club is the oldest club in the world associated with this marque, the only UK based club recognised by the manufacturer – DaimlerChrysler and the only one permitted to use the company’s insignia in its badge. It is non-profit making and run purely for the benefit of its Members. Although it enjoys good relations with DaimlerChrysler, it is totally independent of the company.
