UK Motorcycling Highlights to Add to Your 2026 Calendar
This Year's UK Motorcycle Attractions & Events
As winter weather slows riding across the UK, it’s a great opportunity to look ahead and start planning for the year to come. From historic motorcycle museums and landmark biker cafés to major shows and championship racing, 2026 offers plenty for riders and enthusiasts to enjoy.
At Peter Best Insurance, we support a wide range of motorcycle owners, from riders with a single everyday bike to those with several machines in their garage, including classics and specialist builds. With that in mind, we’ll soon be introducing multi-bike insurance, designed to make managing cover for multiple motorcycles simpler and more flexible.
Here’s a look at some of the UK’s standout motorcycling destinations and events worth pencilling into your diary for 2026.
Celebrating Motorcycle Heritage Across the UK
National Motorcycle Museum
Widely regarded as a cornerstone of British motorcycling history, the National Motorcycle Museum houses more than 1,000 motorcycles from over 170 manufacturers. Around 850 machines are on public display across five halls, tracing the evolution of motorcycling from early innovations to iconic race bikes. Its location near the NEC makes it an easy addition to a Midlands trip.

The collection includes unique factory machines and significant competition bikes from around the world. Set within the New Forest, it also provides an excellent excuse for a scenic ride once conditions improve.
Norfolk Motorcycle Museum
Particularly popular with classic motorcycle owners, the Norfolk Motorcycle Museum focuses on machines from the 1920s through to the 1960s. Visitors can expect to see rare examples such as TT Rudges and Brooklands-era bikes, making it an ideal stop when exploring Norfolk’s quieter roads.
